Administrator Erin Ihrig serves as the Administrator of our long-term care facility, bringing a strong commitment to quality nursing care, regulatory excellence, and resident-centered operations. With a background as a CNA in long-term care and experience in healthcare administration, Erin is dedicated to supporting both residents and staff while ensuring the facility operates at the highest standards. Her leadership approach emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and open communication, helping to foster a positive and welcoming environment for everyone involved in senior care. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, hunting, and fishing, valuing the opportunity to unwind and embrace some quiet moments at home.

Director of Nursing Courtney Begeske is our dedicated leader at Maquoketa Care Center, a respected long-term care facility. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Courtney earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Northeast Iowa Community College and has advanced her career from CNA to LPN to RN. Her nursing experience includes one year in inpatient rehabilitation, assisting individuals recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Additionally, she spent five years in an outpatient wound clinic, where she earned her Wound Care Certification in April 2022. Courtney has also dedicated three years to providing quality nursing care in long-term care facilities. The diverse residents she has cared for over the years have truly captured her heart, prompting her return to the senior care setting. Outside of her professional responsibilities, you can find Courtney enjoying the latest true crime documentary or supporting her sons at various sporting and music events.

Patti Jorgenson is our Business Office/Human Resources Manager at our long-term care facility, bringing over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. She holds an Associates Degree in Business from Northeast Iowa Community College. Patti’s extensive experience in both clinical and non-clinical roles, where she maintains her CNA, equips her with valuable insights into quality nursing care. She has held positions in physician offices, insurance companies, and hospitals, enriching her understanding of daily healthcare operations. Patti’s team approach and welcoming demeanor foster a positive atmosphere within the facility. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as they participate in travel sports. During her downtime, Patti loves to unwind with a good murder mystery book or simply relax.

Activities Director Ashley is our dedicated Activities Director at our long-term care facility, bringing nearly a decade of experience to the role. With her extensive background in customer service and sales, Ashley thrives on providing meaningful activities that enhance the daily lives of our residents, giving them something to look forward to each day. She oversees the creation of the monthly activity calendars that include a range of entertainment, games, events, social gatherings, and personalized 1:1 person-centered activities tailored for each resident. In addition, Ashley is responsible for crafting the monthly newsletter and writing the weekly article in the local newspaper, while also offering support to other departments when needed. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys quality time with her family, especially watching her children compete and win at rodeos, with their travels creating wonderful family memories. This commitment to family reflects her passion for providing exceptional senior care and fostering a vibrant community within our facility.
